Peter H. Egger教授，国际著名经济学家，现任苏黎世联邦理工学院（ETH, Zürich）经济学教授，自2013年起担任国际著名经济学期刊Review of International Economics的主编，是美国经济学学会、欧洲经济学学会、计量经济学学会、英国皇家经济学学会等知名经济学学会的成员。Peter H. Egger教授研究领域主要集中在面板和空间计量经济学的理论和应用、国际经济学和区域经济学的理论和应用、产业组织和跨国公司等方面，学术成果丰硕。目前已在包括American Economic Review、Journal of Econometrics、Economic Journal、Journal of International Economics等在内的国际顶级期刊上发表论文200余篇。
In this paper, we process and analyze data on global value chains for all pairs of countries and sectors plus a residual (rest of the world) country based on EORA. The latter provides such data for 189 countries and 26 sectors. This research has two merits: insights into the average and time-specific distribution of centrality across countries and sectors; and ones related to its changes as well as their components. The latter two strands of analysis permit conducting analysis of the time-specific and average-year level of amplified exposure to shocks, and they enable determining the distribution of the magnitude of shocks on across time and on average for all countries and sectors. Moreover, they enable us to exactly decompose the change in the GVC over a time span of more than 20 years since 1995 into the change in technology as well as annual supply shocks. 排 版 | 韩淑铃
